Brydie is our overnight weekend supervisor and a deeply valued member of the Red Door whānau.
She brings a heart of gold to her mahi, paired with a level of efficiency, steadiness, and consistency that anchors our space. Her energy is strong, grounded, and genuinely caring, and her dedication to our tangata whaiora is unwavering.
With a background in supporting others—including her time as a committed volunteer with the StarJam kids programme— Brydie carries a natural gift for uplifting people and meeting them where they are.
When asked what she values about her mahi at Red Door, she shared:
“Seeing first-hand people rebuilding themselves and witnessing that change up close. Even on the hard days, I feel that being part of this team matters.”
Her words reflect exactly what she brings to our whare: presence, purpose, and a belief in the potential of every person who walks through our doors.
