Our People
At Red Door Recovery, our team is the heart of our kaupapa. We are a collective of clinicians, recovery coaches, cultural practitioners, and people with lived experience who share one purpose: to walk alongside every person who comes through our red door with compassion, dignity, and unwavering belief in their potential.
Many of our kaimahi have travelled their own recovery journeys, bringing a depth of understanding that cannot be taught in a classroom. Others bring years of clinical training, therapeutic expertise, and specialist skills in trauma, mental health, and addiction. Together, we weave these strengths into a therapeutic whānau — a community where clients feel seen, supported, and safe enough to heal.
We work in partnership with tāngata whaiora, not above them. We listen to their stories, honour their whakapapa, and help them uncover the “why” beneath addiction so they can step into a future grounded in stability, purpose, and hope. Whether guiding a meditation, leading DBT skills, supporting a whānau hui, or simply sitting with someone in a difficult moment, our team shows up with aroha and integrity every single day.
This is more than a workplace. It is a whānau committed to transformation — for our clients, for their families, and for the generations that follow.
