Meet Tim - Our Lead Supervisor

Tim has been with us for 5 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and wisdom from his lived experience transitioning from active addiction into recovery, and is now 7 years clean and sober. 

Tim has travelled an extremely hard road in his life and the passion and determination he brings into red door recovery is unwavering. There is nothing he would not do for others trying to break the cycle and get free from addiction. 

What makes you continue to show up and work at Red Door?

because I see myself in the people that come through the doors. I know what it’s like to be written off, to feel lost, angry, addicted, stuck, and not know how to live. And I also know what it’s like when someone doesn’t give up on you.

I keep showing up because this work matters. It’s not just a job to me. These are people’s sons, daughters, mums, dads, they are our people. If we help our people, families get their people back. Kids get their parents back. People don’t die. That’s why I stay.
